Instagram's set of 18 filters isn't cool. You know what's cool? FilterMania 2's 180 filters. Wait, FilterMania 2 actually has way more than that.
Dropico has just released FilterMania 2, the second iteration of its camera effects app. The original app is now defunct, but not to worry. FilterMania 2 has more than enough filters to satisfy your quick photo-editing needs.
FilterMania 2 features not 18, not 180, but over 300 different photo filters. The app also prides itself in using realistic elements for its filters rather than mere color distortions.
FilterMania 2 lets you choose from 20 categories, including: Classic, Nature, Light, Destruction, Frames, Famous Places, Retro, and Space. The app also lets you combine filters on a single photo to achieve a unique effect. Make sure not to overdo it, though, or your effect will just end up being uniquely garish.

Once you're done with your filter-processed photo, you can easily save it to your camera roll. Additionally, FilterMania 2 includes sharing options for Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Flickr, and even Instagram. A live feed of newly edited photos and a featured feed for top creations are also included in the app.
FilterMania 2 is available now in the App Store for free. Note that the free offer is good until this weekend only. Note also that due apparently to the currently overwhelming usage of the app, photo sharing might not work and occasional crashing might be encountered. Blame the FilterManiacs.
