If you’re a Potter-mad Apple fan, be sure to check out the recently updated LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 ($4.99) in the App Store. After receiving an update just before the weekend, the application – which launched at the beginning of May – now features five brand-new leaderboards, which users of the app can complete for places on via Game Center.

As outlined in the app’s release notes, those leaderboards are:

  • Fastest Time to Complete The Order of the Phoenix
  • Fastest Time to Complete The Half-Blood Prince
  • Fastest Time to Complete The Deathly Hallows – Part 1
  • Fastest Time to Complete The Deathly Hallows – Part 2
  • Total Studs Collected

In addition, the update (1.2) addresses a bug that affected Grimmauld Place.

According to the game’s release notes, Warner Bros. – the app’s developer – is looking into developing and implementing a new optional control system in an upcoming update (version 1.3) of LEGO Harry Potter. This of course will be good news if any of you have had trouble guiding Harry, Ron or Hermione through the wizarding world.

Currently, the universal LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 is available in the App Store for $4.99. Take a look at the latest update now, and start working up those all-new leaderboards!
