The BattleQuiz Beta Test Campaign Promises The Possibility Of Financial Rewards

June 26, 2012
Creating a social game called BattleQuiz, a startup company in the Netherlands is jumping into the smartphone game market head first by launching a beta testing campaign that promises the possibility of being rewarded with up to 10 percent of the first month's revenue. BattleQuiz is described as a turn-based social game providing head-to-head trivia matches consisting of general knowledge questions. By the sounds of it, the game will be free to download, but will be ad-supported and feature in-app purchase items. The beta test program is open to owners of iOS or Android smartphones, however, 50 dedicated beta testers will share the revenue gained by the ads and in-app purchases of BattleQuiz gained during the first month of public availability. Those select 50 testers will earn at least 1 percent of the revenue, though the five most involved testers will earn an additional 9 percent, 10 percent in total. Obviously, the campaign is designed to gain feedback and produce word of mouth promoting before and immediately after the public release of BattleQuiz. Therefore, along with simply getting a chance to play the game early, you will be required to answer surveys, provide other input, and, as mentioned earlier, promoting the game via word of mouth.
What we will ask you to do The Beta-testing campaign consists of two parts, pre-launch and post-launch. In the pre-launch period we will e-mail you some (probably 2 or 3) easy assignments. In these assignments we will ask you to evaluate the design, content and functionality of BattleQuiz. You will do this by filling in a questionnaire and by playing the app (even before everyone else can!). In the post-launch period we will give you one assignment with a set of challenges that you can complete. These challenges involve playing the game, evaluating it and spreading the word. You earn Beta-tester points by completing assignments. The better your contributions are, the more points you earn. What you get in return Everyone that completes the assignments automatically receives 1% of all the first-month revenues (this is 50% of our first-month revenues divided by 50 Beta-testers). The remaining 50% of our first-month revenues are awarded to the 5 Beta-testers that accumulate the most points in all assignments.
Beta tester registration is open now through June 29, and the entry form can be accessed by clicking or tapping here. We at AppAdvice are not affiliated with BattleQuiz, the developer, or the beta test program, we're just passing the news along, and suggest that all interested persons read the terms and conditions in full before registering.
