Don't Forget: Apple Closes iWork.com Today, Make Sure Your Documents Are Saved

July 31, 2012
It's July 31 folks, and Apple is closing down iWork.com. If you haven't yet saved documents hosted over at the website, be sure to do so quick before you lose them forever! Last week, we told you iWork.com-users had just one week to go before the service shut-down. Since Apple announced the closing of iWork.com back in May (largely due to the launch of iCloud) the company has been issuing reminders to persevering users, urging them to save important work before the website closes. Just one week ago, the below message reached iWork.com-users' inboxes:
Remember, as of 31 July 2012, you will no longer be able to access your documents on the iWork.com public beta site or view them on the web.
Here's how you can save any documents stored on iWork.com:
  1. Go to www.iwork.com from a web browser.
  2. Sign in with the Apple ID and password you previously used with your iWork.com account.
  3. In the Shared Documents page, you will see all of the documents you have shared using iWork.com. Click the download arrow associated with the documents you want to download and preserve.
  4. When the drop-down menu appears, select the format you want for your download by choosing from the available options: iWork ’09, Microsoft Office, or PDF.
Be sure to save your documents A.S.A.P. if you haven't already! Source: iWork.com Via: Cult of Mac
