Get The Party Started With Vjay For iPad

August 6, 2012
A couple of months after it debuted the app, Algoriddim has issued the first update for its innovative music video mixing app, vjay. The Munich-based developer first gained considerable acclaim with its other music app, djay. Having done that, it went on to create vjay, an app that takes the technology behind djay a good many steps further. With vjay, you can create music video mashups right on your iPad using an easy-to-use touchscreen console. As demonstrated in the app's launch trailer below, vjay features real-time display of transitions and various other types of effects. The app also offers integration with different sources of media, so you can easily build your mashup library. In addition, it boasts support for advanced accessories for a more tactile experience. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. Serving to make the app more excellent than it already is, the app's first ever update brings the following improvements:
  • Added support for 1080p videos (up to 30 FPS)
  • Added setting: Play Automatically
  • Added setting: Auto Repeat
  • Improved overall performance
  • Fixed compatibility with VoiceOver
  • Added support for Numark Mixdeck Quad and ION iDJ 2 Go MIDI controllers
Compatible with iPad 2 and the third-generation iPad, vjay is available in the App Store for $9.99. Do you have what it takes to be a music video mashup master? If you already have vjay, then you already do.
