Photo Sharing Comes To Skype Apps

The popular VoIP apps, Skype (for iPhone/iPod touch) and Skype for iPad have both received a new update. Skype 4.1 includes a number of new features including the ability to send and receive photos. First introduced for iPhone in 2009, Skype makes it easy to call, video call, and instant message anyone else on the service for free. Since last year, it has also been available on Apple’s tablet. [caption id="attachment_331603" align="aligncenter" width="382"]Skype for iPhone Skype for iPhone[/caption] Version 4. 1 includes the following:
  • Send and receive photos
  • Updated privacy setting
  • Fixed bug related to Bluetooth and calls
  • Minor visual improvements across the app
  • Other minor bug fixes
Both Skype and Skype for iPad are free and available in the App Store.
