Robot ABCs With Jinxie Brings Together Man And Machine To Teach The Alphabet

August 7, 2012
It's back to school time for children in K-12 and a new stage for those heading to college, but that doesn't mean your preschooler can't expand their knowledge as well. To get things started, all you need is your iPad or iPhone, maybe a durable case, and Robot ABCs with Jinxie. Jinxie is a fun robot who already knows the alphabet, and now wants to teach others. To accomplish the task, Jinxie has partnered with a human narrator in a team effort to provide proper pronunciation of letters and words as well as a little whacky enjoyment. Displayed through a hand-drawn environment, each letter of the alphabet is accompanied by an associated item, such as "A" for apple and "K" for kite, plus a human narration. Want to hear it in robot form? Just tap anywhere on the screen and Jinxie will take his turn at the pronunciations. After completing all 26 letters, kids are given the opportunity to sing along in the ABC song and awarded a printable congratulatory certificate. In addition, Deedil makes the experience even more kid and parent-friendly with no third-party ad or social network integration, in-app purchase items, and data acquisition to cause privacy or financial concerns. Robot ABCs with Jinxie is a universal app compatible with iPad, second generation iPad, third generation iPad, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, 32GB and 64GB third generation iPod touch, fourth generation iPod touch and newer running iOS 4.3 or later, and available in the App Store for $0.99.
