The Food Network has announced the arrival of a new app for food enthusiasts. The universal Food Network On The Road app is available in the App Store. The app, which works on the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad, provides fans with information on restaurants and foods seen on “Dinners, Drive-ins & Dives,” “The Best Thing I Ever Ate,” “The Great Food Truck Race,” and other popular shows.

Additionally, the app offers users a way to save and recommend places they want to visit, get tips for top dishes, and get badges for visits and road trips. Along the way, finding new information is just a few clicks away, using the app’s search feature.
