Jailbreaker Gets Google-Powered Maps App To Run Under iOS 6
Sick of the Maps app in iOS 6? The jailbreak mastermind, Ryan Petrich, recently announced that he's managed to port the Google Maps-powered Maps application to jailbroken iDevices running iOS 6. Though the port is reportedly unstable at the minute, with a little more work, it could be that we'll all be able to run the good ol' fashioned Google Maps application on our jailbroken iPhones, iPads and iPod touch devices in the near future. The news hit the Web via Twitter, in an update that read:
