Keyboard Shortcuts Get iCloud Sync In iOS 6

September 20, 2012
Great news, iDevice owners: it now seems Keyboard Shortcuts (which you can enable, disable and create in the Settings app) sync across iOS devices in the recently released iOS 6. This means that a shortcut created on your iCloud-powered iPhone will immediately be available to use on your iPad, and iPod touch. Handy, right? As iDownloadBlog notes:
To enable Keyboard Shortcut syncing in iOS, ensure that Documents & Data are enabled in iCloud. That’s the resource that iCloud uses to transmit the Keyboard Shortcuts between iOS devices. To do so, head to Settings > iCloud > and Documents & Data. Ensure that the toggle is switched to the on position. Be sure to do this for all of the iCloud enabled iOS devices you want to sync.
Apple released iOS 6 yesterday, and many new features have been added in this version of the mobile operating system. If you haven't yet updated, remember that you can do so either over-the-air or via iTunes. Are you a fan of Keyboard Shortcuts? Find out how to enable iCloud sync in the walkthrough video below.
