The Post-Apocalyptic World Falls Under Martial Law In Nightfall

September 20, 2012
Before nightfall tonight, Nightfall will have been updated with a brand new expansion pack. Nightfall is developer Playdek’s iOS implementation of Alderac Entertainment Group’s deck-building game. Being the horror-themed game that it is, Nightfall has you dealing with ghouls, vampires, and werewolves in a post-apocalyptic world. And as if the game’s setting isn’t already chaotic, here comes an expansion pack that makes it more so. The new expansion pack is called Nightfall: Martial Law. Available through a $1.99 in-app purchase, Nightfall: Martial Law promises both darkness and chaos:
In Martial Law, darkness reigns and chaos threatens. Humanity looks to impose order, but can they control creatures that defy logic? New characters, new actions and new color chain combinations makeNightfall: Martial Law a brand new twist on the horror-themed, deck building game, Nightfall. A new “Feed” mechanic that allows players to get more use from their orders and a brand new “Wound” effect that lets a player increase the strength of a Minion makes the Martial Law expansion a must-have addition to the Nightfall game.
Of course, the expansion pack augments Nightfall’s core feature set:
  • Supports 1-5 players (human and/or AI)
  • 3 levels of AI
  • Asynchronous multiplayer online games
  • Play against others with “pass and play” multiplayer
  • Player Profiles
  • Introductory tutorial to teach you how to play
  • Maintain and save multiple games
  • Automatic shuffling, cleanup and scoring
  • Universal App
Nightfall: Martial Law is available now in the newly updated Nightfall, which is currently on sale for only $0.99. Don’t wait till nightfall before getting the new expansion pack, especially if you’re a fan of the game. [gallery link="file"]
