There's Nothing But Open Skies And The Opportunity For Money In Pilot's Path
Games with graphics that appear incredibly realistic make for such an immersive experience, however, there's still something priceless about playing in arcade-style environments. Hoping to combine the best of both, Happymagenta's latest iOS title features retro graphics and gameplay with 3-D cut-scenes. As a former helicopter pilot of the United States Air Force, you've realized the only chance of success is by utilizing those skills. Unable to find work in the commercial sector, you turn to organized crime and the lucrative position of illegal trafficking. Placed in an open world environment that's coincidentally similar to Jungle Strike, you have the opportunity to take part in missions to increase your finances and upgrade your aircraft for bigger jobs. The territory includes 50 randomly generated islands spread throughout two locations. In addition to being optimized for all of your iDevices, Pilot's Path is also playable in a game console configuration if you own an Apple video cable or, more preferably, an Apple TV. When outputted to an external display, including via AirPlay, Pilot's Path converts your iDevice into a dedicated controller, sort of like Real Racing 2 HD and Chopper 2. Pilot's Path is a universal app compatible with iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch running iOS 5.0 or later, and available in the App Store for $0.99. [gallery link="file" columns="4"]
