AppAdvice has teamed up with Samer Azzam, our latest AppAdvice Daily podcast sponsor, in order to offer you a chance to win AnyShape ($1.99) for iPhone and iPod touch.

AnyShape is a powerful photo editing app that allows you to crop even the most irregular shapes thanks to its highly effective bezier selection tool.

The app allows you to import any photo from your library and start cutting it up in seconds. AnyShape offers a variety of tools in editing mode, the most important of which is the selection tool. Just tap on your photo to place markers all around your subject. For every two points placed there will be a secondary middle point, allowing you to fine-tune your selection. You can also make adjustments to the points after they have been placed, so don’t waste too much time trying to get them perfect the first time around. Editing mode includes the option to zoom in on your photo as well, and see your selection without any points to get a better look.

Just a cat in a box.

After your selection looks perfect, you are able to make some additional adjustments. You can enhance your photo by adjusting its contrast, brightness, gamma, exposure, sharpness, color balance, and tone. Effects can also be applied to both your cropped subject and the inverse, or you can crop your subject out entirely and add a handful of customizable drop shadows. At any time during editing process, you can take a glance at your original image to see just how far you have come.

AnyShape includes multiple levels of undo, 20 filters, 15 enhancement tools, 30 colors to choose from, and the ability to process images up to 10 megapixels and 25 MB in size.
