Give Your Videos An Awesome Shattered Look By Winning Video Masher
AppAdvice has teamed up with MEA Mobile in order to offer you a chance to win one of five promo codes for Video Masher ($0.99) for iPhone and iPod touch. Video Masher could fit in with the movie making tools, but it's probably better categorized as a just for fun photo and video editing app. MEA Mobile's creation is a one trick pony, although, that trick can be quite stunning. Performing the transformation requires three steps: recording a new video or importing one you already shot, "mashing" it, and saving it back to the iOS camera roll for sharing. The process of mashing a video involves smashing it into several fragments and then reassembling those shards randomly into a collage-style video. There are 15 layouts to choose with a different number of cell connected horizontally, vertically, or in a grid pattern. If you aren't satisfied with the outcome, you can re-mash videos into a different layout. When using the small cell layouts, the effect appears very similar to a kaleidoscope. To have a chance at winning one of two Video Masher promo codes, just hit that tweet button near the bottom of this page or retweet this post from your favorite Twitter app before Oct. 26 at 11:59 p.m. PDT. We will then search the Twitterverse for all of the retweets and randomly choose our lucky winners. The winners will be notified via Twitter, so please be sure to follow us so we can send you your promo code via a direct message. Non-Twitter users and those of you who want to increase your odds of winning can leave a relevant comment below before 11:59 p.m. PDT tomorrow to have a chance at winning one of the other three Video Masher promo codes. If you do make an entry via the comments area, please be sure to also check your junk email boxes so that you won't miss out if you win.
