Site Of Apple's 'iPad Mini' Event Decked Out With New Signage, Hip Posters

Apple’s second special event in as many months is just a day away. As such, the California Theatre in San Jose, Calif. is getting a decidedly groovy makeover. The venue’s low-key marquee now says, “Apple Special Event.” However, posters scattered throughout are much brighter and include hues of blue, orange, and green. The historic location was built in 1911 and last hosted Apple events in 2005.

Announced just days ago, Apple’s October event comes just weeks after the iPhone 5 debuted. It is expected to be the launching pad for the so-called “iPad Mini.” Other possible products set to arrive include a new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display, updated new iPad, refreshed iMac, and more. Apple’s event is tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct. 23 beginning at 1 p.m. EDT. We’ll be in the venue to bring you information as it happens. We hope to see you there!
