Updated Package Tracking App Delivers A Host Of Improvements

October 18, 2012
One of my all-time favorite iOS apps that I use on an almost daily basis has just been updated with a large number of improved features. I tend to receive a lot of packages – for both my personal use and my AppAdvice writing. And instead of trying to keep up with where everything is in the delivery chain, Junecloud’s Delivery Status Touch allows me to have access to up-to-date and accurate information with just one app. Supporting more than 30 delivery sources from all over the world, the app is very easy to use. If you want to keep track of a package being shipped by a supported source, just copy the tracking number to the clipboard and open the app. It will automatically detect the number and add the shipment in. Along with adding support for DPD UK and TNT Express Australia, version 4.8 of the app improves support for FedEx, Canada Post, and other services in iOS 6. And if you have the newest version of the OS, users can pull down on the list of the deliveries to manually sync and update the status, much like pulling to refresh in the Mail app. The previous version of the app added support for iOS 6 and the taller screen of the iPhone 5. But this version adds a number of subtle improvements for iPhone 5 users. Numerous other bugs are also fixed with the update. Delivery Status Touch is a universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad. It can be downloaded in the App Store for $4.99. If you’re interested in other apps from Junecloud, definitely take a look at the excellent Notefile notetaking app.
