HARMAN Becomes First Vendor To Offer Speaker Docks For Lightning Devices
HARMAN has announced the imminent arrival of two new Lightning docks for the iPhone 5. The JBL OnBeat Micro and JBL OnBeat Venue LT launch ahead of Black Friday, which is Friday, Nov. 23. These docks appear to be the first that make use of Apple’s new Lightning connector. The $99 JBL OnBeat Micro is a compact speaker dock for the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPod nano. It includes JBL full-range transducers, and a fully digital signal path with digital signal processing. Additionally, the Venue LT includes two full-range transducers, two tweeters, slipstream port technology for great-sounding bass with low distortion, and user-friendly EQ settings.
