Sonic Jump Flies High With The Addition Of 12 New Story Levels And More

November 26, 2012
Just a little more than a month after its launch, Sonic Jump has just received a nice new update. The major improvement in version 1.1 of the app is the addition of the High Flier update. It adds 12 new story levels and a new arcade level full of never-before-seen hazards, enemies, and achievements. Also new is the addition of Amy Rose. Gamers can now unlock Amy as a playable character with her own unique abilities. The update also adds a global challenge. Players can work with the worldwide community to reach the Moon and unlock yet another character in the game. Finally, there is new level music, unlockable wallpaper, and other goodies to find. Sonic Jump is a universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad. It is optimized for the larger screen of the iPhone 5, and can be purchased in the App Store now for $1.99. The game leapt into the App Store in October. In our original review, Juli Clover said that the title has good controls, solid gameplay, and a sufficient enough challenge. But, Juli said the jumper didn’t bring enough unique content to the table. Even so, Sonic Jump did win our coveted AppAdvice Game of the Week award.
