Thanks Target, You Saved Me $40 On My New iPad Purchase

November 2, 2012
For the past few days, Target has been offering customers a $40 gift card with any iPad purchase. We figured that this deal wouldn't be extended for sales of Apple's fourth generation tablet, which launched today worldwide. According to 9to5Mac, however, that isn't the case. The retailer is giving the discount to iPad 2, iPad 3, and iPad with Retina display buyers.  The free gift card will automatically be added to your shopping cart with the iPad. The discount, however WILL NOT work with iPad mini purchases. This deal is available at Target stores and online. Best Buy is also offering a deal on iPad purchase.  However, the company's $50 discount doesn't extend to the iPad with Retina display or for the iPad 2. Instead, it is only available on the iPad 3. For those interested in making an iPad with Retina display purchase, Target's deal is pretty nice. Source: 9to5Mac
