The Pebble Universe Makes A Small Salute To Hollywood

November 28, 2012
Dropped onto the physics-based puzzle game pile back in March, Pebble Universe provides a nice break from the more popular physics puzzler. The daredevil and whimsical rocks have already been given new playgrounds via the v1.2 update, and today's release of v1.3 adds a handful more. Increasing the free level count to 30, these five new puzzles are extra special. Along with the standard brain workout, there's a bonus challenge in it for you. Each of these new puzzles is inspired by a major motion picture. So, have fun trying to guess which movies they are. In fact, Itatake really hopes and expects that you will enjoy the extra perk because it's the plan for the foreseeable future.
Our plan for the coming six month is to release several small updates on different themes to satisfy our players, says Thomas Wedin at Itatake. This is the first one and it will be available for free.
Personally, I like the idea, although, I hope they reveal the answers in the next update notes, or something. My curiosity will haunt me of whether or not I'm correct regarding those puzzles I'm not completely certain about. Anyway, for the final notes of v1.3, you'll be happy to know that Pebble Universe is now 4-inch Retina display optimized. Pebble Universe is a universal app compatible with iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch running iOS 4.2 or later, and available in the App Store as a free download.
