Tune In To The Updated Rdio App With A New Design And Unified Player

November 27, 2012
While I’m a big fan of Spotify, another streaming music service has just released a nice update to its iOS app. Version 2.0 of the Rdio app is highlighted by a brand new design. The app now features a clean, white interface and a sliding side navigation bar that is accessible throughout the app. The navigation bar features playlists, new releases, and a user’s music collection, among other items. Making it easier to listen on multiple iOS devices, the unified player in the new version of the app syncs and queues what you’re currently listening to across all of your Rdio devices. And with the new remote control feature, users can also control Rdio apps on other devices. Rdio is a universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad. It can be downloaded free in the App Store now. But you must have a subscription to listen to music. The unlimited plan starts at $9.99 per month if you join through Rdio’s website. You can also purchased the unlimited subscription via an in-app purchase for $14.99 that automatically renews monthly. And if you’re interested in other music subscription apps, you can take a look at our updated AppGuide.
