It seems that photography apps for iPhone are on an update high lately. There’s Adobe Photoshop Express, which just got updated with a new editing tool and a free set of borders and frames. And then there’s Flickr, which just got redesigned à la Instagram. And now, not to be outdone, the lesser-known but nonetheless feature-rich Fuzel has also received a major update.

Fuzel is a photography app that, as both its tagline in the App Store and our original review here on AppAdvice suggest, makes collage making awesome.

And Fuzel itself has just been made more awesome by its latest update, which bumps the app to version 2.0.

Prettified with a new interface, Fuzel 2.0 introduces a slew of new features and improvements, some of which are demoed in the rather heartwarming update trailer below.

If you can’t see the video embedded above, please click here.

First, the app now lets you send 5.25″ x 5.25″ square postcards made from your collages through its new MyPublisher Inc. integration. Arriving just in time for Christmas, this new in-app service costs $1.99 for each postcard sent to the U.S. and $3.99 for each postcard sent elsewhere.

Second, Fuzel now lets you edit your photos right within the app. With just a swipe here and there, you can adjust your photos’ lighting, color, sharpness, blurring, and vignette strength to better suit your collages.

Third, the app now lets you add easily customizable text labels to your collages. There are six free labels, with 12 more available via a $0.99 in-app purchase.

In addition, Fuzel 2.0 adds shadow toggling on photos and improved “Ratios.”

It also adds 24 background patterns for free and 12 new filters for $0.99, on top of the original 18 filters.

The newly updated Fuzel, which requires iOS 6.0 or later, is available now in the App Store for free. Fuzel Pro, which comes with the features in the Essential Pack in Fuzel already unlocked, is also available for $0.99.

Download either Fuzel variant now and see what all the fuss is about.
