Jump, Fly, Run And Punch Your Way Through A New World In Rayman Jungle Run
Ubisoft has just pulled the wraps off its early holiday gift for fans of Rayman Jungle Run. And this gift comes in the form of an update that brings some substantial downloadable content to the popular iOS game. Released just last September, Rayman Jungle Run went on to earn an AppAdvice Game of the Week honorable mention. Indeed, its combination of tried-and-tested gameplay and gorgeous graphics was just too good for us to let pass. Unsurprisingly, seeing as it's a game with the Rayman brand in its name, Rayman Jungle Run is essentially a platformer. But it's a really fast-paced one that also uses an extremely simple control scheme. You see, in Rayman Jungle Run, the famous title character runs automatically. And you only need to control at which points Rayman does his jumping, flying, wall running, and punching. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. In fact, each of the four original worlds in the game is designed and named after the main action you have to perform: Jump, Fly, Wall Run, and Punch. And now, thanks to the game's latest update, there's a brand new world in Rayman Jungle Run. Appropriately called Potpourri, the new world presents a mix of different actions. It also offers 10 new levels set in different environments, including a snowy jungle, dangerous waterfalls, and a new Land of the Dead. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, Rayman Jungle Run is available in the App Store for $2.99. By the way, even as it's called Rayman Jungle Run, the updated game also lets you play as Rayman's best friend, Globox. If you wish to play as Globox, just purchase the $0.99 Heroes pack, which also includes two costumes for Rayman. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
