MapsOpener Jailbreak Tweak Makes Google Maps The Default Maps App

Now that Google has its own Maps app in the App Store, wouldn't it be nice to avoid the built-in app? Currently, address or maps links open the stock Maps app in iOS 5 or Google's Web app in iOS 6, but this jailbreak tweak may have a solution to help you use Google Maps more often. MapsOpener will allow you to set Google Maps as the default maps app on your jailbroken iOS device. Whenever you click on an address or maps link in Safari, Google Maps will launch and load up the information you've requested. Along with that, tapping on any "Directions" links in Safari will launch turn-by-turn navigation within Google Maps instead of the list-style directions found in the iOS 5 Maps app. Here's a description of MapsOpener from Cydia:

Requires Google Maps app. This simple tweak makes Google Maps links open in the new App Store app rather than the built in iOS app on iOS 5 and earlier or the Google Maps website on iOS 6. No icons are added to the home screen. There are no screenshots.
