Share Delectable Photos Of Your Favorite Food This Holiday Season With Burpple

December 24, 2012
I think the folks behind social food journal app Burpple might be up to something. They released the previous major update to the app in time for Thanksgiving. Now, they have released the latest major update to the app in time for Christmas. It's not like these occasions are even remotely associated with food, right? Oh, right. The folks behind Burpple would very much want you to use Burpple to record your food moments during the holidays. And to further encourage you to do so, they have introduced an upgraded version of Burpple with an all new camera. The new Burpple camera features not one, not two, but six delicious filters. Said to have been "specially engineered for food," these Instagram-like filters are applied to your food photos as you shoot them. What's more, they're named after some of the most popular delicacies from around the world: Tapas, Loco Moco, Tiramisu, Teriyaki, Masala, and Latte. In addition to these filters, the new Burpple camera also features the tilt-shift blur effect. Applied properly, this effect can make your already mouthwatering food look even more so in your photos. Of course, your prettified photos are better shared than kept to yourself. Burpple is, after all, essentially a food sharing app. And to help you easily manage your sharing preferences, new personal sharing settings for Facebook Pages, Twitter, and Weibo have been added to Burpple. Designed for iPhone and iPod touch, and optimized for iPhone 5 and the fifth-generation iPod touch, Burpple is available in the App Store for free. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
