Having Boot-Up Time Issues With Your Jailbroken Device? Check Out evasi0n 1.5

February 24, 2013
Less than a week after the release of evasi0n 1.4, the evad3rs team has just released version 1.5 of the popular iOS 6 untethered jailbreak. The latest version of evasi0n contains fixes for issues concerning the boot-up time of jailbroken devices. As noted by iDownloadBlog, evasi0n 1.5 "also comes with an updated Cydia package list, which is automatically loaded onto your device during the jailbreak process." The new version of evasi0n is available now in the jailbreak's official website. Last week, the evad3rs team promptly came out with evasi0n 1.4 in response to Apple's public release of iOS 6.1.2. Apple released iOS 6.1.2 so as to fix a widespread Microsoft Exchange bug. The week before that, evasi0n 1.3 was released to add compatibility with the then just-released iOS 6.1.1. For its part, iOS 6.1.1 fixed an issue that could impact cellular performance and reliability on the iPhone 4S. The other previous updates to the jailbreak, evasi0n 1.1 and 1.2, were released to fix a Weather app bug, resolve an issue concerning reboot times, squash a time zone bug, and disable over-the-air updates.
