Join Domo As He Embarks On An Epic Journey In This New iOS Platformer

Domo, konnichiwa! That's "Well, hello there!" in Japanese. It also translates to "Hello, Domo!" Domo is, of course, the official mascot of the Japanese TV station NHK. Also, he is the star of a recently released iOS game. Say hello to Domo The Journey, an iOS platforming game featuring the popular sawtoothed, perpetually open-mouthed character. Domo The Journey follows Domo as he goes on an heroic journey to rescue his best weasel friend, Tashanna. You see, Tashanna has been kidnapped by the angry Hungry Bear. Now, you must help Domo save her by running and jumping your way through 25 challenging levels across five unique zones: the forest, the saw mill, the underground mines, the ice peaks, and the barren desert. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. Helping Domo in his journey entails collecting coins and baseballs. Coins can be used to buy upgrades and unlock zones from the in-game shop. Baseballs, on the other hand, can amount to an additional life. You can also collect or buy cameras and guitars with which to frighten enemies and clear obstacles. Apparently, the enemies and obstacles in Domo The Journey are averse to both point-and-shoot photography and rock music. Designed for iPhone and iPod touch, but not yet optimized for iPhone 5 and the fifth-generation iPod touch (for some reason), Domo The Journey is available now in the App Store for $1.99.
