Macworld/iWorld 2013: Always Have A Stand For Your iDevice With The iSlider From Rain Design
We’ve all had those moments while we are out with some friends or family, and we want to show everyone something on our iPhone, iPad mini, or iPad. Perhaps a video, or even a bunch of photos from your latest trip. But it can definitely get tiring holding up an iDevice for a while, and even then, maybe not everyone is able to see. A stand would definitely be useful, right?
Rain Design understands. They made a perfect, portable solution for situations like this. Announced and unveiled at Macworld/iWorld 2013, the iSlider is the perfect travel-sized stand to carry with you wherever you go.[caption id="attachment_380243" align="aligncenter" width="300"] The iSlider stand when opened. | Credit: Macworld[/caption]
The iSlider is designed to be extremely portable, and it’s quite small, making it easy to take with you in your purse, backpack, or whatever daily bag you use. The stand (while closed) looks similar to a Magic Mouse. The stand part of the iSlider will slide out of the thicker end, and users can adjust the viewing angle in a variety of ways. The bottom will have rubberized grips that will hold the stand in place. Then just set your iPhone, iPad, or iPad mini on the little ledge and sit back and relax!
The iSlider, which was just revealed at the show, will cost $49.95. Rain Design also makes a wide variety of other products for your Mac and iDevices, which you can check out at their store here. The iSlider is not on their shop yet, but will be available soon.
Our own Dominic Esposito went hands on with the iSlider at the Rain Design booth at Macworld/iWorld 2013, so make sure to check out the video below to see the stand in action! If the video is not showing up for you, then click here.
