March 31, 2013
If you’re running a custom theme on iOS, you may want to check out this Cydia tweak. Badge Customizer will give you the ability to make app badges match just about any theme. Once you’ve installed this tweak, you’ll be able to change the color, size, and position of all badges within the Settings app. Check out our video overview below: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LYYAbXx1TtQ

Badge Customizer doesn’t require WinterBoard, but all changes will require a resping. Custom badge colors are defined using a set of RGB sliders within the tweak’s settings. While you’re changing these options, you can use the built-in preview button to see the new badge color before you commit to anything. The developer has also implemented a respring button and a toggle switch to enable or disable the tweak. It's also important to note that Badge Customizer requires iOS 6 or higher. Currently, Badge Customizer is available in the BigBoss repository for free. Check it out and let us know what you think in the comments.
