Haze Creator Robocat Hopes To Launch The Thermodo Weather Thermometer

A new project is getting a rise out of some Kickstarters. A temperature rise, that is. Robocat is currently seeking funding for the Thermodo, called “the tiny thermometer for mobile devices.” The device, which is designed to hang on a set of car keys, works through an iOS device’s standard audio jack. Thermodo takes the temperature indoors as well as outdoors. In addition, it is said to work without a network connection. Take a look:

If the name Robocat sounds familiar, it should. The company has long been a player in the weather app arena. Their most popular apps for iOS include Haze, Thermo, and Outside. The Thermodo is Robocat’s first Kickstarter project. At the time of this writing, nearly $25,000 of the requested $35,000 has been raised with 33 days to go. Full funding must be received by Tuesday, April 9. To help fund Thermodo, be sure to visit the project’s official Kickstarter page.
