Match-Three Goes Under The Sea In Atlantis: Pearls Of The Deep

Already a highly rated game for desktop, Atlantis: Pearls of the Deep has now found its way to iOS. As the game's story goes, the legendary city of Atlantis is in danger following a twofold disaster. Now, the city's only hope lies in the magical pearls hidden beneath an ancient ruin. To this ruin the mermaids must go, and to these mermaids you must extend your help as they attempt to get the pearls of the deep. (Cue epic musical score.) Atlantis: Pearls of the Deep is a match-three game where you have to match the titular undersea spheres as you help the mermaids in their quest. In the game, you have to match three or more pearls of the same color to clear them. Once you clear the pearls that need to be cleared in a level, you advance to the next level. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. There are more than 45 levels in the game, each of which employs physics in the way pearls behave. So, it's not enough that you simply drop a new pearl onto the vessel of pearls. Instead, you also have to consider where a pearl is likely to bounce into once it's dropped. To make things a bit easier for you, the game allows the use of power-ups, including the Bomb Pearl, the Lightning Pearl, and the Ghost Pearl. You can buy power-ups using star coins, which you can earn by playing or by in-app purchase. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 4.3 or later, Atlantis: Pearls of the Deep is available now in the App Store for free. The game also includes bonuses, mini-games, and a special Zen mode for unlimited play. Having been addicted to Candy Crush Saga and Supermagical, I think Atlantis: Pearls of the Deep is likely to get me hooked as well. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
