Now You Can Blend Individual Frames From GIFs In Image Blender

March 19, 2013
Image Blender has just been updated with a few significant improvements. If you're not familiar with Image Blender, it's a photo editing app that does exactly what it says on the tin. As Christine noted in her review of the app from a couple of years ago, "Image Blender has a very easy and straightforward interface. Pick your images, blend it, and save. If you want to find new and truly unique combinations of your photos, then give this app a try." And now is a good time to give Image Blender a try, since it has just been updated with interface improvements and several new features. Perhaps most notable among Image Blender's new features is its new GIF picker. As its name suggests, the GIF picker lets you pick a specific frame from a GIF. After selecting a GIF, Image Blender shows all of the frames that make up the GIF and lets you choose one for your desired combination. Whether it's for the background or for the foreground, Image Blender's GIF picker simply works. Image Blender's new features also include TIFF support for compression-free combinations and iCloud support for syncing preferences. Moreover, the new version of Image Blender, which is a universal app, adds a new blend mode picker on iPad. The app's iPhone edition already has said mode. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running on iOS 5.0 or later, Image Blender is available in the App Store for $2.99. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
