Quickly Share Large Files With The New QuikBeam Feature In QuikIO 2.0

March 19, 2013
QuikIO has just been updated to version 2.0. And the new version of the popular file access and management app introduces yet another significantly "Quik" feature. Last January, QuikIO gained a feature called QuikSend. Now, the app has gained QuikBeam. QuikBeam is similar to QuikSend in that it also lets you share files with others. But it's way better. In fact, QuikBeam is so much better that it has effectively replaced QuikSend in QuikIO. As described in the app's release notes, the newly QuikBeam-enabled QuikIO …
… builds in the smartness to find the best route to connect the two iPhones. This often avoids the unnecessary upload to the clouds. So you can enjoy the highest connection speed – up to 10-20 times faster than the existing solutions in the market.
One of the most notable among these solutions is Samsung S Beam, which is the fastest solution on the Android platform. But QuikBeam, at its peak speed, is said to rival even that. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. Check out the video above to watch QuikBeam in action. Note that this new QuikIO feature lets you transfer photos, HD videos, and other files without the size limit imposed by other conventional solutions. As mentioned, QuikBeam is integrated into QuikIO 2.0. Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch, QuickIO 2.0 is available now in the App Store for free. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
