Temple Run: Brave Gets Redesigned Store And Facebook Integration

March 3, 2013
The official iOS tie-in game of this year's winner of the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature has just received another update. I'm referring, of course, to Temple Run: Brave, which Temple Run creator Imangi Studios developed in partnership with "Brave" producer Disney. The latest update to Temple Run: Brave brings a couple of changes. One, the game has a new Facebook feature that lets you share your achievements and challenge your friends in addition to posting your scores on the network. And two, the game has a new and improved store. The previous in-game store shows available power-ups, utilities, outfits, characters, and wallpapers all in one laggy list. Now, the redesigned store shows conveniently tabbed sections containing the aforementioned items as well as additional coins. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 4.3 or later, the new version of Temple Run: Brave is available now in the App Store as a free update or as a new $0.99 download. The original Temple Run and its sequel, Temple Run 2, are also available in the App Store for free. A month ago, it was rumored that another Imangi-Disney collaboration in the form of Temple Run: Oz the Great and Powerful was set for release on Feb. 27. But said date had come and gone, and the "Oz the Great and Powerful" Temple Run tie-in game is yet to show up in the App Store. If you're interested in playing other endless runners (including my personal favorite, the newly updated Subway Surfers), check out our Endless Running Games AppGuide.
