Photo Slice Pro ($1.99 → Free, 45.8 MB): Cut your favorite photos up and put them back together to create works of art with this photography app. You're able to import photos from a variety of sources, including your own library, and then slice them up in four different ways. After your photos have been sliced, you can rearrange, rotate, resize, and apply effects and frames to each piece. When everything looks in order, share your work of art via Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, Flickr, Picasa, Twitter, or email. The app includes 22 built-in templates, 93 stickers, 14 frames, 29 effects, and 33 backgrounds.

Convertible ($0.99 → Free, 2.6 MB): This is not your standard unit conversion app. Convertible is able to convert units of measurement, currency, and a whole bunch of non-standard and real-world units. Non-standard and real-world units consist of things like tigers, red blood cells, AAA batteries, and baseball bats. The app's intuitive interface allows you to just slide the unit categories and measurements left and right to choose them. Conversions can be swapped and shared via Twitter or email. The app also includes five themes to choose from.

Plant Nanny ($0.99 → Free, 15.7 MB): Stay hydrated throughout the day with this adorable health and fitness app. You must first enter your current weight and activity level. The app will then come up with a water intake goal for you to try to achieve throughout the day. To help keep you motivated, you must also choose a plant and continue to water it throughout the day. The app includes multiple plants and pots to choose from, a clock option, history, and the ability to share your plants with friends on Facebook.

Universal:

Full Deck Pro Solitaire ($0.99 → Free, 29.0 MB): A Solitaire card game that features a huge collection of variations. You're able to tap and drag cards into place or just tap to automatically move them into open spots. Each variation includes a set of rules, stat tracking, and high scores. The game includes 41 Solitaire variations, customizable card backs and backgrounds, and an intelligent three level hint system.

VFX Studio ($0.99 → Free, 43.9 MB): Add all kinds of awesome visual effects to your photos with this powerful photography app. Each of the over 250 visual effects can be moved, resized, and rotated using multitouch controls. Effects can be customized by adjusting their opacity, hue, saturation, brightness, contrast, gamma, and RGB balance. The app also includes layer support, and 22 effects categories including smoke, bullet impacts, cracks, weather, and explosions.

VFX Studio is available for free for a limited time. It has a 3.5-star rating with a total of 27 ratings.

Countdown 2 ($0.99 → Free, 9.5 MB): Countdown to any event in your life with this timer app. You're able to customize each event with different titles, messages, colors, and tones. You can even import them from your calendar and have them repeat. The app includes icon badging, the ability to edit events, six event colors, three themes to choose from, iCloud support, and the ability to share countdowns via Facebook, Twitter, SMS, or email.

Countdown 2 is available for free for a limited time. It has a 3-star rating with a total of 211 ratings.

Duck & Roll ($5.99 → Free, 48.1 MB): Help a young duck live out his dream and become a rock star in this rhythm game. Tap, slice, hold, and cut jumping stars to the beat to string together combos and rack up big points. The more accurate you are with your taps and swipes, the higher your score. The game includes three difficulty levels, loads of songs to play, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center.

Collage Painter ($1.99 → Free, 11.7 MB): Get creative with this entertaining photography app. It allows you to create mashups, cards, artwork, and anything else you can imagine by combing multiple images. You're able to add images from the web and your library, or you can snap new ones in-app. You can then crop, paint, transform, and apply effects to images using a wide variety of customizable tools. When you're finished with your work of art, you can share it via Facebook, Twitter, or email.
