Robokill 2 ($0.99 → Free, 80.7 MB): The sequel to Wandake's hit dual-stick shooter, Robokill. The game's storyline picks up right where the first left off, requiring you to fend off a species of vicious alien lizards in order to protect a mining facility. As you take down your enemies you'll be rewarded with experience points, allowing you to eventually upgrade your mech with all kinds of new weapons and abilities. The game includes over 600 alien infested rooms to blast through, which are spread across 12 missions and three chapters. It also includes 25 new enemy types, over 30 weapons and items, customizable controls, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center.

Wave Cam ($0.99 → Free, 11.1 MB): Capture full body portraits and group shots handsfree with this photography app. You must first find a stable spot to place your iPhone, otherwise Wave Cam won't be able to recognize movements. Then strike a pose and wave your hand over the Wave Cam icon to start the countdown. Photos are automatically saved to the in-app library, where you can add filters and then share them via Twitter or Facebook.

Sketch Me! ($0.99 → Free, 22.7 MB): Turn your photos into black and white sketches within seconds with this photography app. Sketch Me! allows you to import photos from your library or snap new ones in-app. You're able to apply one of seven different sketch effects by tapping the left and right arrows near the bottom of the screen. You can also adjust the strength of each effect, and even choose to only sketch half of the photo, leaving the other completely intact. The app also includes multiple paper options, the ability to paint in colors, and sharing via email, Facebook, or Twitter.

Sketch Me! is available for free for a limited time. It has a 3-star rating with a total of 68 ratings.

Universal:

Atomic Toy ($1.99 → Free, 1.2 MB): Craft new wallpapers for your iDevice or just get lost in the colorful scenes with this entertainment app. Beams of light are constantly moving about the screen. You're able to interact with them by tapping and dragging your fingers all over the place. You can switch between the five modes and toggle other options on and off in real-time to see how they affect the pattern. The app includes TV-out support, multi-touch support, and the ability to save your favorite patterns to your photo library.

Atomic Toy is available for free today only (03/17). It has a 3.5-star rating with a total of 810 ratings.

Fish Crackers Deluxe ($2.99 → Free, 7.2 MB): Another challenging puzzle game from Grabarchuck, the creators of LetsTans. The goal is to try and fit all of the pieces scattered around the edge within the shape in the middle. Pieces can be rotated with a tap and flipped with a double-tap. The game includes 450 puzzles, iCloud support, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center.

Fish Crackers Deluxe is available for free today only (03/17). It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 22 ratings.

Auryn - The Little Mermaid ($3.99 → Free, 153.1 MB): Experience The Little Mermaid, Hans Christian Andersen's beloved classic tale, in a whole new way with this interactive storybook. The app includes 28 pages that can be interacted with by splashing in the water, controlling sea creatures, and manipulating wispy clouds. It also includes professional narration and immersive sound effects.

Word Wonderland (Primary) Full ($1.99 → Free, 98.1 MB): Lead a friendly frog from one end of the pond to the other by sorting words in this educational game. Your child can move the frog by tapping on lily pads. Some pads are missing, breaking the frog's path to freedom, so your child must discover which word belongs in the gap. The game includes three worlds to explore, three skills to practice, three difficulty levels, and support for multiple profiles.

Hitpad - See What's Up ($2.99 → Free, 2.1 MB): Find out what's happening and trending all around the world today with this news app. Its intuitive interface makes it easy to discover the topics people are talking about. Just swipe left and right to view the available categories, and swipe again to view all of the headlines in visual form. Tap on a headline to view all related news, videos, photos, and tweets. You're also able to share headlines, favorite them, and save them for later via Instapaper. The app includes the ability to view your Facebook feed in the same way.

Hitpad - See What's Up is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 1103 ratings.

Grammar Wonderland (Elementary) ($2.99 → Free, 70.3 MB): An educational app that will help your child work on their grammar skills through interactive games. They're able to practice using nouns, verbs, and adjectives by flying planes, feeding bears, and tossing jars. The app includes four worlds to explore with multiple challenges in each, the ability to practice all of the skills separately, four difficulty levels, and support for multiple profiles.

They're able to practice using nouns, verbs, and adjectives by swimming, feeding chameleons, and tossing crackers at parrots. The app includes three worlds to explore with multiple challenges in each, the ability to practice all of the skills separately, four difficulty levels, and support for multiple profiles.
