Week Calendar HD 5.0 Delivers Redesigned Interface Plus More Features
After a long hiatus from the App Store, Week Calendar HD has now made its return through its 5.0 update. Unsurprisingly, it's better than it has ever been. Naturally, the most noticeable thing about Week Calendar HD 5.0 is the app's redesigned appearance. Gone is the app's skeuomorphic brown or black leather skin. In its stead is a more modern iPad-optimized interface featuring a sidebar-based navigation scheme. Week Calendar HD offers a pleasing display of events in day, week, month, and year view. It even makes cross-calendar management with its ability to display multiple calendars in a single view. Easy calendar event management is also a key consideration in the app's use of icons, colors, and gestures. Week Calendar HD also includes a calendar store that offers access to national holidays, sports schedules, and more. Compatible with iPad running iOS 5.0 or later, Week Calendar HD 5.0 is available now in the App Store as a free update or as a new $2.99 download. The original Week Calendar for iPhone and iPod touch is also available in the App Store for $1.99. In fact, it has just been updated with iCloud compatibility with Week Calendar HD. Week Calendar was featured in AppAdvice's App Showdown of calendar apps, along with Calvetica and Agenda. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
