Be Careful As You Play This New Adventure Platformer ... It's A Badland Out There

This game is dark and full of terrors. Nope, in this particular instance, I'm not talking about "Game of Thrones." Rather, I'm talking about Badland, which, if you ask me, may as well be called Radland. Because that's just what Badland is: rad. So rad, it turns out, that it has been given the Best Project award in Game Connection Europe 2012. Of course, Badland is so named for a reason. And that reason is quite simple: the land that is the setting of the game is, quite simply, bad. In the game, you control a little flying creature as it tries to traverse the game's auto-sidescrolling sylvan world, which happens to be filled with various hazards and obstacles. Take a look at the game's launch trailer below to preview some of these hazards and obstacles. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. Badland offers the following features:
  • Single-player campaign with 40 truly unique levels and more coming in updates
  • Multiplayer mode for up to four players playing with the same device in 12 levels and more coming in updates
  • Intuitive one-touch controls combined with innovative level design
  • Highly immersive audio-visual gaming experience
  • 100% indie game (no publisher, no funding)
  • Universal app with no IAP (player gets the whole game experience optimized to all of his/her iOS devices)
  • iCloud support (player's game progress is synced between all of linked iOS devices)
  • More levels and content coming in updates
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, Badland is available now in the App Store for $3.99. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
