Globe-Trotting Endless Runner Subway Surfers Goes Down Under

April 8, 2013
In the past few weeks, I've been playing a lot of Sonic Dash and Temple Run: Oz. Be that as it may, I still find myself coming back to my favorite endless runner, Subway Surfers, which has recently been updated. As you may already know, Subway Surfers is on a virtual World Tour. It kicked off in January with the game's New York City theme. It then continued with the game's Rio de Janeiro and Rome stops. And now, for its new World Tour stop, Subway Surfers has gone down under. Specifically, it has gone to sunny Sydney in Australia. As a result, Subway Surfers has been re-skinned with various touches inspired by Sydney's subway in particular and Australia's famous image in general. And as with the other World Tour stops, Subway Surfers' Sydney stop features a new character and new boards. The new character is called Kim and she's said to be the "ultimate surfer chick." And the new boards are called Outback and Great White. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, the new version of Subway Surfers is available now in the App Store for free. So far, the game has gone to North America, South America, Europe, and Australia. Which continent do you think Subway Surfers is headed next? [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
