Holy Bricks, Batman! Lego Batman: DC Super Heroes Out Now On iOS

April 25, 2013
Lego Batman: Gotham City Games, the iOS companion game to Lego Batman released way back in 2008, is no longer available in the App Store. But no matter, since there's a newly released Lego Batman game for iOS that looks to be way better. The new game is called Lego Batman: DC Super Heroes. Bearing similarities in gameplay to Lego Harry Potter, it features Batman and Robin as they attempt to save Gotham City from being destroyed by the usual suspects. You know, The Joker and company, including Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Penguin, Catwoman, and even Lex Luthor. Fortunately, the Dynamic Duo won't be alone in their quest. Joining them are a bunch of other superheroes from the DC Universe, including Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, The Flash, Aquaman, Green Arrow, Cyborg, and Hawkman. These supplementary superheroes can be unlocked as you play or purchased in the in-game store. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.1 or later, Lego Batman: DC Super Heroes is available now in the App Store for $4.99. Make sure to clear enough space on your iDevice before you download the game, because it weighs in at well over one gigabyte. Fun fact: the game is said to be the first Lego game for iOS that features talking mini-figs. I guess that includes Robin and his "Holy ___, Batman!" catchphrases. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
