Panic Squashes Bugs In Status Board Update

Panic's popular Status Board app for iPad has just received an update, adding bug fixes and making a series of important performance improvements. The application, which provides users with a "one-stop location" for email, news, social networks, and more, met with largely positive reviews following its release on April 10. Now, in version 1.1 of Status Board, developer Panic has increased the app's stability and has corrected some issues present in the original release. As outlined in the application's release notes, important changes made in Status Board 1.1 include:
  • Improved overall stability and performance.
  • Basic iOS video mirroring now works as expected. (Deluxe “HD Out” still offered as an In-App Purchase for those who want non-letterboxed, best-quality output for an external display!)
  • Much better performance for Calendar List panel, especially during resizing of the panel.
  • Celsius/Fahrenheit can now be set for each Weather panel to override the iOS default.
However, a large number of more minor improvements also appear in this update. Currently, Status Board for iPad is available in the App Store for $9.99. Take a look at the recently updated application, or for more information on the app itself be sure to check out our original article.
