Television Tracking App tvQ Gets Major Overhaul, Adds iPad Support

April 19, 2013
Are you the kind of person that doesn’t like to miss a single episode of a television show? Do you stay home on Wednesday nights and records programs on a daily basis to your DVR? You’ll be happy to learn that the app development team at M2D2 is working on a complete revamp of their television tracking app, tvQ. There isn’t much information available as to what the update will include. M2D2 only sent us a cryptic message with a link to a YouTube trailer. However, after a bit of research, we have discovered that tvQ will be getting a new design very soon. The best part is that the app will be available for the iPad, too. The tvQ2 app, as the developers are calling it, has been rewritten to change the way information is stored. The update will make things run faster and look better. Features will include the addition of a calendar and movie check-ins. Users can add their favorite shows to their account, read episode synopses, and rate movies. You can even have alerts sent to you to notify you of upcoming shows on your watch list. You can download tvQ for free in the App Store. However, the update has not been released and there is no information as to when it will be launched. Check out the trailer below to see the newly redesigned app in action.
