Challenge Your Game Center Friends To Beat You To The Punch In Monkey Boxing
Just over a month after its release in the App Store, Monkey Boxing has gained a much-requested feature. This new feature makes pugilistic monkey business happen between two players wherever in the world they may be. The new feature in question is online multiplayer support. Specifically, it's support for an online multiplayer mode enabled by Game Center. Now, when you want to start a two-player Monkey Boxing match, you can choose to hold it on the same device, over Wi-Fi, or online via Game Center. So, now you can challenge your Game Center friends from halfway around the world to beat you to the punch as you try to win the World Monkey Boxing Cup. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. Note, though, that the performance of online matches heavily depends on the quality of your connection. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later, Monkey Boxing is available in the App Store for $2.99. "Monkey Boxing may cost $2.99," noted Lory in her largely positive review of the game, "but you’ll never be asked to purchase a panda mask or buy gems to unlock special powers." "Overall, this game is worth the price," she concluded. "The graphics are great and the gameplay is simple, but entertaining." [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
