D:11 Features An Interview With Apple CEO Tim Cook

D:11, AllThingD’s annual technology conference, begins on Wednesday, May 29. The three-day event is once again being held in Ranchos Palos Verdes, Calif, and features a number of influential speakers including Apple CEO Tim Cook. Hosted by the Terranea Resort, D:11 kicks off with an opening night session featuring an interview with Cook. A late night gathering hosted by PayPal will follow. Cook’s interview begins on Wednesday at 6 p.m. PDT. On Thursday evening, Elon Musk from Tesla and SpaceX will be the evening’s featured interviewee. This will be followed by a nighttime session sponsored by Windows Phone. Other speakers this year include Dick Costolo, CEO, Twitter, Jeff Zucker, president, CNN Worldwide, and Jeffrey Immelt, chairman & CEO, GE, among others. This will be Cook's second appearance at the AllThingD event as Apple CEO. At last year's D10 conference, Cook discussed everything from Steve Jobs to Chinese manufacturing with Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher. Opened in 2009, Terranea is a Mediterranean-style resort located on the Pacific coastline.
