Photo Editor By Aviary Makes A Colorful Splash With New Significant Update

May 28, 2013
Aviary’s official photo-editing app for iOS now lets you "splash" some color onto your photos. Photo Editor for Aviary has just received an update that brings a couple of noteworthy improvements. One of these improvements comes in the form of a new color splash tool. As Aviary puts it, the Splash tool "strips out color, then lets you paint it back into your photo in a super fun way." The Splash tool comes with two brushes, the Free Color brush and the Smart Color brush. The former lets you paint back color any which way you want, while the latter limits the effect to the color of your choice. As for the other improvement brought by the latest update to Photo Editor by Aviary, it's the merging of the Brightness, Contrast, Warmth, and Saturation tools into one. And that one tool to adjust them all is called, well, Adjust. Actually, the new Adjust tool simply contains all of the aforementioned tools. But it presents them in such a way that switching between the tools to fine-tune lighting and coloring is considerably faster and easier. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later, the newly updated Photo Editor by Aviary is available in the App Store for free. Last month, Photo Editor by Aviary received its 2.0 upgrade, which delivered the redesigned interface it now sports along with new tools, effects, and stickers. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
