This Week In Accessories: A Beautiful iPhone 5 Dock And More

May 10, 2013
Welcome back to This Week in Accessories. Last time, we took a look at six perfect iOS accessories for mom. But this week, we’re highlighting a beautiful dock for the iPhone 5, a nice pair of Bluetooth headphones, and more.

OCDock for the iPhone 5

If you’re still looking for that perfect iPhone 5 dock, I’ve found a great option. Designed to integrate seamlessly with an iMac or Thunderbolt Display, the OCDock features a paper-thin Lightning cable that runs under the display, making it look wireless. The dock attaches firmly to the stand with a residue-free reusable tape. And three interchangeable silicone supports are included to fit a naked iPhone, slim cases, and larger cases. The dock, which is made with an anodized silver finish to match the iMac, retails for $79.99 and can be purchased on Bite My Apple.

Booq Boa Squeeze

The latest addition to the Boa collection, booq’s Boa Squeeze is a backpack designed to carry up to a 15-inch MacBook Pro. Featuring a quick-access iPhone pocket on top, the Boa Squeeze is made of a strong denier nylon exterior and features a water-repellant coating on both the outside and inside of the bag. Two outer-access pockets of the backpack are also made from non-scratch neoprene to protect your day-to-day essentials. The graphite-colored Boa Squeeze is available for $129.95 and can be purchased directly from booq’s site.

RH1060 Bluetooth Stereo Headphones from Scosche

First shown off at CES 2013, Scosche’s RH1060 Bluetooth Stereo Headphones are now available to purchase. Along with 40mm drivers, the headphones offer a ported sound chamber that provides the exact air space necessary for optimal component performance. And with the combination of genuine leather and memory foam that molds to a unique ear shape, the headphones also feature a fully adjustable folding headband and two-axis gimbal system for a perfect fit. The battery can provide up to eight hours of continuous playback and can fully recharge in less than three hours. To preserve battery life, users can also connect their device with the included audio cable. The headphones can be purchased for $199.99 on Scosche’s site.

Innotraveler Universal Smartphone Mount from Seidio

Featuring a reusable adhesive pad that won’t leave any sticky residue, the Innotraveler from Seidio can be used with almost any smartphone. The mount’s locking suction cup with an adjustable arm and pivot head help secure the phone every time. The mount is also designed to quickly and easily adjust for the ideal viewing angle while on the road.
