AP Mobile Update Makes The Best News App Even Better

June 25, 2013
My favorite news app, AP Mobile, has just recently been updated with some substantial changes. Most importantly, version 6.0 of the app brings an end to the sometimes annoying buttons from previous versions. With the simplified navigation structure, readers can use short swipes between stories and a swipe from the left to go back to the menus. The new tile-based homescreen provides a preview of the news categories and will allow the AP to bring readers different types of featured content. For easier access, Big Stories are now tiles in the navigation homescreen. Finally, along with the ability to save favorite local papers as a tile, users can also customize their tile content and order. AP Mobile is a universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini. It can be downloaded now in the App Store for free.
