Apple Announces Availability of OS X Mavericks

At today’s WWDC, Apple announced the future operating system for the Mac. The new OS X 10.9 Mavericks has plenty of new features, including a new calendar update, iBooks, and lots more. Apple has made a preview of Mavericks available for developers today. The final product will be available to everyone this fall. There is no official date given for the public launch of Mavericks. There is also no mention of the price of the new Mac operating system, but if it is anything like its predecessor, Mavericks will probably cost around $19.99
