Fingerlab's Musyc App Puts The Power To Make Music Right At Your Fingertips

Have you ever heard of color synesthesia? It's a phenomenon whereby sounds trigger perception of colors and shapes. In all likelihood, you may never have the chance to experience it, as it's an extremely rare occurrence among individuals. But if you want to experience its opposite effect, i.e., colors and shapes triggering sounds, then Fingerlab's newly released Musyc app is your best bet.
With Musyc, France-based developer Fingerlab, which received an Apple Design Award last year for DM1 - The Drum Machine, appears to have another hit music app around its, er, fingers.
Basically, Musyc turns touch into music. Musyc lets you fill a canvas with various shapes of different colors and listen to the musical sounds they end up creating. Take a look at and give a listen to Musyc in the trailer below:
