PopCap Games co-founder John Vechey announced at E3 2013 that a sequel to Peggle, “the ultimate casual gaming experience for iPhone,” is set to launch later this year.
TouchArcade reports that the news came towards the end of a Plants vs. Zombies 2 demonstration. However, little information concerning the forthcoming app, Peggle 2, has been disclosed: “no footage, no images, and no platforms were announced,” the website explains.
We’ll keep you updated with further information on Peggle 2 as we receive it.
In the meantime, both Peggle for iPhone and Peggle HD for iPad can be downloaded for $0.99.
